Six killed in road accident

Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 6 (UNI) Six people were killed and 25 others injured, 10 seriously, when two state-owned buses collided head-on at Guthi Road in this district of Andhra Pradesh today.

The deceased were identified as K Hussain (driver), G China Venkateswarlu (30), B Veera Anjanalu (38), K Viswantham (55), K Rama Rao and J Pavan Kumar (24), police added.

The accident occurred when an APRTC bus proceeding to Ananthapur from Adoni in Kurnool district collided with another oncoming bus.

All the injured were admitted to Ananthapur Government Hospital.
