Silver rises, gold plunges by Rs 25

Mumbai, Nov 6: Gold plunged by Rs 25 and silver rose by Rs 12, reflecting a mixed trend on the bullion market here today, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 19,050 (19,038) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,128 (9,153) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,178 (9,206).
