Seven killed in UP accident

Lucknow, Nov 6: At least seven people were crushed to death when a truck, overloaded with cement bags, overturned on the Lucknow-Gorakhpur National Highway in the Gonda district this morning.

While four people died on the spot, the others died on way to hospital, police said here.

The accident took place in the Khuldabad area when the truck overturned, apparently trying to overtake another vehicle.

At least ten others were grievously injured. Their condition is stated to be critical, the police added.
