Rupee opens weak at 44.90/91 per USD

Mumbai, Nov 6: The rupee today opened lower by eight paise and was quoted at Rs 44.90/91 per US dollar as compared to its previous close of Rs 44.82/83 per USD, a money market trader said.

Later, the domestic currency rose to Rs 44.9250 per USD, and is now trading high at Rs 44.84/85 per USD due to sustained selling pressure by banks, forex dealers said.
