Rain likely in MP, Karnataka

Pune, Nov 6 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Madhya Maharashtra, north interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Marathwada, Telangana and Rayalseema.

Heavy rains have occurred at most places in Madhya Maharashtra.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Chattisgarh and north interior Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Lakshadweep and at a few places in Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Andman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Orissa, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Marathwada, Telangana and Kerala.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of west Rajasthan and in coastal Karnataka.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Tripura, Haryana, east Rajasthan, Gujrat State, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana, some parts of Orissa, Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of west Rajasthan. It was appreciably above normal in Rayalseema and south interior Karnataka and in some parts of Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh and above normal in Himachal Pradesh and north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. They were normal over the rest of the country.
