Prime accused in Indian salesman's murder innocent: Police

Dubai, Nov 6 (UNI) The prime suspect in the murder of an Indian has been declared innocent following DNA tests of the bloodstains on his clothes, police said.

Biran Koya (40), from Kerala, was stabbed 17 times with a knife last Tuesday at his stationery shop.

The police said they are investigating a number of other leads to probe the matter.

However, the police failed to explain as to how the detained Saudi's dress was stained with blood.
