National Equestrian Championship in Bangalore from Dec 1

Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) A six-day FEI World Jumping Challenge and National Equestrian Championship will be held at Agram Grounds at the Army Service Corps Centre and College (South) here from December 1.

According to a release here today, the championship would be a visual treat for the spectators as equine excellence and saddle expertise would be on display. Popular names that have brought laurels to the country in international competitions, including the Asian Games, would be seen in action at the event, conducted under the aegis of the Federation Equestre Internationale and the Equestrian Federation of India.

The events include water jump, individual and team tent pegging, power-jumping and world show jumping competitions.

The equestrian events would be an annual feature in the city in the coming years, the release added.
