Lalu-Rabri condemn Assam bomb blast

Patna, Nov 5: Railway minister Lalu Prasad and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi today condemned serial bomb blasts at Asom capital Guwahati, which claimed ten lives and injured more than 300.

The couple noted that the victims of the blasts, triggered by ULFA militants, were mostly Bihari labaourers and urged the Asom Government to ensure safety and security of Biharis living there.

They also demanded adequate compensation to the next of kin of the victims and proper medical care to the injured ones.

''I have talked to Asom Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, now in Delhi and he assured me to take necessary action to prevent recurrence of such incidents,'' Mr Prasad told UNI tonight.
