Indian Open Polo from Wednesday
New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) Spectators can look forward to some excellent stickwork and breath-taking horsemanship when the 106th Reid and Taylor Indian Open Polo Championship gets underway at the Jaipur Polo Ground here on Wednesday.
Organised by Equisport, the final of this 20-goal championship is scheduled on Sunday.
The participating teams this year are Kingfisher First, Jindal Steel&Power, Johor and Majara, last year's Indian Open Champions.
For the first time, a team from outside India (Johor Team) shall be participating in the Indian Open Championship.
The Indian Open Trophy is highly coveted which makes the games extremely competitive and thus a thrilling treat for the spectators.
This celebrated championship brings in some of the best polo action every year and the finest players, both from India and abroad.
