India women to play Jordan in AFC U-19 tournament
New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) India will play Jordan in their opening encounter of the qualification round of the AFC U-19 Women's Championship 2007 in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.
Placed in Group A, India next play Myanmar on November 9, Singapore on November 11 and Thailand on November 15, according to an AIFF release here today.
Top two teams from the five-team group will qualify for the AFC Under-19 Championship 2007.
The squad: Goalkeepers: Wangkhem Thabal Devi, Tarini Singh, Neelam Khalkho Defenders: Tuli Goon (Captain), Surbala Devi Khumukcham, Alochana Senapati, Sabita Singh, Valarmati Ravi, Bijay Laxmi Sahoo, Romi Devi Ashem Midfielders: Maibam Bembem Devi, Manpreet Kaur, Asha Rani Laishram, Chanu Santhoi Chingtham, Sasmita Malik, Prameshwori Devi Irom, Shradhanjali Sahoo, Rinki Kujur, Nameirakpam Roma Devi.
Forwards: Bala Devi Nangom, Manpreet Kaur Sidhu, Lalvarmoi Hmar, Anuradha Chetri.
