Gunman's body recovered

Vijayawada, Nov 6 (UNI) Two days after the boat accident, in which Malleswaram MLA Buragadda Vedavyas had a miraculous escape, his gun man Bhushayya's body was recovered today from Ginjeru water tank at Pedana Mandal near here.

Police said the body was send to Machilipatnam Government Hospital for post-mortem.

However, there is no information about Army Jawan Babu Ram, who was reported missing from the accident spot.

The search for is still on.

Meanwhile, Mr Vedavyas, who was admitted to a private hospital in the city was shifted to NIMS in Hyderabad.

Doctors, who attended on him, said though his condition was stable, he was shifted to NIMS as he had an infection in his lungs.

APCC President K Keshava Rao and state Panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy called on Mr Vedavyas to enquire about his health.
