Gadaria gang kills five villagers
Shivpuri, MP, Nov 6 (UNI) Five villagers were gunned down by the Gadaria gang during an attack last night at Karyara village in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, police said today.
The attack followed a considerable period of silence since the dacoit gang's chief Dayaram Gadaria's death.
Gwalior range Inspector General of Police Sarabhjeet Singh confirmed that the dreaded gang -- led by Dayaram' brother Rambabu Gadaria -- attacked the village and killed five people on the charge of being police informers.
The hands and feet of the villagers were tied. Later, they were gunned down and their bodies were thrown on the road.
The bodies, bearing 5-6 bullet wounds, were recovered late last night. Besides, a letter was found on the spot in which the gang claimed that the deceased were police informers.
The letter also contained the names of members of the gang and included Dayaram Gadaria's name.
Mr Singh, DIG Adarsh Katiyar, Shivpuri Superintendent of Police Sajid Farid and other police officers from nearby areas reached the spot.
The deceased were identified as Ashok Gurjar (22), Ramraj Gurjar (17), Suresh Gurjar (23), Bunty (17) and Bunty (18).
