Four persons drown in Ganga

Lucknow, Nov 5 (UNI) At least four people drowned in the Ganga in Bijnaur district last evening, police today said.

The accident occurred near 'Madhya' Ganga barrage, where four persons slipped into the waters while bathing in the river on the occasion of 'Kartik Purnima'.

After some hours, divers managed to recover only one body, while a search for others was on.
