CITU holds rally

Puducherry, Nov 6 (UNI) The CITU today took out a procession through the main thoroughfares of the town and held a demonstration in front of the Legislative Assembly to press their demands.

They were demanding among other things turning the society for the welfare of the unorgansied sector labourers into a welfare board and earmarking Rs five crore for it, enrolling domestic maid servants as mambers and inclusion of a CITU representative as the member of the welfare board for building and construction workers.
