Cenco International, HAL sign MoU
Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) Cenco International, a division of Techspace Aero S.A. member of the SAFRAN Group, and ETBRDC, a division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on engine test facility design and manufacture.
The agreement was signed by Techspace Aero President and CEO Philippe Schleicher and HAL Engine and Test Bed Research and Development Centre General Manager P V Mustafa in the presence of Belgium Vice-Prime Minister and Finance Minister Didier Reynders, who is leading a high-level delegation to India.
The MoU would set forth the principles of a long-term commercial and technical collaboration on the design, manufacturing and installation of gas turbine engine test equipment in the global market, according to a HAL release here.
Both parties would work together on specific projects in India and abroad and work as preferred supplier of specific items such as mechanical parts, data acquisition systems and other specialised equipment, the release said.
Commenting on the MoU, Mr Schleicher said ''our group company SAFRAN has a long and strategically important association with India and we at Techspace Aero also have the unique distinction of the presence of our test systems in India for more than three decades.
