BJP satisfied with UP urban local body election results

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) The BJP today expressed its satisafction over ''good performance'' in the recently concluded UP urban local body elections.

Reacting to the emerging trends, BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said, "the good showing of the BJP was despite rigging and other serious malpractices indulged by the ruling Samajwadi Party.

This shows that those who are discounting and denigrating BJP must reconsider their views".

"The party will perform much better in the coming assembly elections in the state, which is to be held in the first half of 2007," he added.
