Belgaum AP records the lowest temperature of 18.6 deg. celsius

Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places South Interior Karnataka and at isolated North Interior Karnataka.

Belthangadi recorded heavy rainfall of 7 cms.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Sringeri, Jayapura 6; Kundapur, Balehonnur 5 each; Karkala, Athani, Mudigere, Koppa, N.R.Pura 4 each; Panambur, Mangalore AP, Hidkal Dam, Kakkeri, Sagar, Tyagarthi 3 each; Mudibidre, Gerusoppa, Kumta, Siddapura, Gokak, Indi, Thirthahalli, Shikaripur, Kalasa, Kammardi, Koratagere 2 each.

Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 18.6 deg. Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Tumkur districts and at isolated places over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast for Bangalore city: Generally cloudy.
