Autos go off roads in Gulbarga

Gulbarga, Nov 6 (UNI) Commuters faced hardship as autorickshaws went off the roads in this North Karnataka city today following a protest by auto drivers demanding that the police arrest those behind the murder of an auto driver in the city recently.

The auto driver was hacked to death allegedly by a rival group of auto drivers. However, no arrest had been made by the police so far.

Almost all the autos were off the roads as some of the drivers who took out their vehicles had to face the wrath of the other group who pelted stones on them.
