Assam Rifles Act 2006 notified

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) The Centre today notified the Assam Rifles Act 2006.

The Act was notified in the Gazette of India, an official statement said here.

President A P J Abdul Kalam had given his assent to the legislation on November 3.
