Arcelor Mittal Q3 sales $22.1 bn, confirms outlook

Brussels, Nov 6: Arcelor Mittal, the world's largest steelmaker, reported third-quarter sales of .1 billion on Monday and said it confirmed its full-year guidance.

The company said EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) amounted to .35 billion.

According to analyst forecasts compiled by Reuters, the average of seven estimates put EBITDA at .29 billion and sales at .07 billion.

Arcelor's shareholders have accepted a takeover offer from sector leader Mittal Steel after an acrimonious fight between the two companies. Arcelor Mittal will be a global giant three times larger than its nearest rival.
