Apollo doctors did nothing wrong: Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (UNI) The management of Apollo Hospitals believed that its doctors and other staff, recently chargesheeted in the Rahul Mahajan case in New Delhi, had done nothing wrong, Ms Sangita Reddy, Executive Director (Operations) Apollo Hospitals Group, said today.

''We are sure justice will prevail,'' she told reporters on the sidelines of a national seminar on revitalising rural heath care.

''Our doctors did what they would do for any patient who comes to the hospital in an emergency,'' she said, adding ''the whole episode is unfortunate. The media has sensensationalised it''.

A New Delhi court had on Saturday last issued summons against 14 people, including six doctors and two aides of the slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, who were chargesheeted by the Delhi Police for destruction of evidence related to Rahul Mahajan's drug abuse case.
