Ambedkar urges OBCs to unite
Nanded, Nov 6 (UNI) Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM) president Prakash Ambedkar today urged members of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) to forge unity.
Addressing a gathering of OBCs here, Mr Ambedkar said the OBCs should forge unity if they wish to have their voice heard at the national level.
Without naming expelled NCP leader Shalinitai Patil, Mr Ambedkar, however, condemned the stand of a former Maharashtra minister in opposing reservation for OBCs.
In an oblique reference to RPI MP Ramdas Athawale, Mr Ambedkar also ridiculed a particular leader for portraying himself as the only leader of ''dalits'' in the country.
