6 held, fake currency seized

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 6 (UNI) The city police today nabbed a six-member gang involved in fake currency racket at Tangallamudi Area of the city today.

West Godavari SP M Jaganmohan Reddy told newsmen here police raided a house at Ambedkar Nagar in Tangallamudi following a tip off and seized fake currency with face value of Rs 20,000, a printer, scanner and other materials.

The arrested were identified as T Saratnabu alias Chinna, M Nagaraju, Rajanala Krupavaram, Panchadara Rajesh, N Ganesh and P Ratayya.

Another accused Emmandi Giribabu was at large, he said. The main accused, Sarat Babu, was arrested earlier.
