Woman, daughter found dead under mysterious circumstances

Jaunpur, Nov 5 (UNI) Police today recovered the bodies of a woman and her toddler from the road side in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said after the deceased were identified as Sunita (30) and her three year old daughter Parul, their family members were informed.

Later, Sunita's kin lodged an FIR that her daughter married to Shitala Yadav, was constantly harassed by her in-laws to bring more dowry, failing which she was killed and thrown on the road.

Meanwhile, investigations were on.
