Tripura defeated Jharkhand in CK Naidu U-22 cricket
Agartala, Nov 5 (UNI) Tripura defeated Jharkhand by 94 runs in the three-day CK Naidu trophy U-22 here today.
The hosts resuming their overnight score of 196/9 added only four runs in their second innings ( 200 all out) soon after the day's play began.
In reply the visitors made 117 runs conceding all wickets on the penultimate day today.
In the first innings, Tripura scored 137 runs while the visitors made 126 runs. Barring Ramen Chakraborty who made valuable 40 runs, most of the visitors' batsmen could not even reach at double figure.
Anshu Lamba and Tushar Saha for Tripura captured two wickets each.
Kishore Muhuri of hosts played superb innings scoring 71 runs facing 151 balls in the second innings.
