Three people, including a woman, murdered in Paithan
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 5 (UNI) Three people, including a woman, were found murdered in two separate places at Paithan, a famous piligrimage town about 60 km from here, last night, police today said.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Navinchandra Reddy told UNI that both the incidents occured between 1230 hrs and 0530 hrs, In the first incident, Ms Sulabai (50) and her neighbour Uttam Dhawale (50) were found murdered in a field, some distance from the town. Preliminary investigations indicated that Ms Sulabai and Dhawle were murdered by three armed men. The reason behind their murder is not known.
In yet another incident, about three km from Paithan, farm labourer Uttam Keskar (60) was found murdered outside his house in MIDC locality in the early hours today.
Investigations are underway in both the cases, police said.
