Saddam verdict: Security scaled up in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) Security was tightened here to avoid any untoward incidents following awarding of death sentence to former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Police sources said round-the-clock vigil had been ordered, and patrolling and vehicle check-ups intensified.

Security cover had been enhanced at all places of worship.

Alert had been sounded in the state.
