Saddam sentenced to hang

BAGHDAD, Nov 5 (Reuters) Saddam Hussein was sentenced to hang by a US-sponsored Iraqi court which found him guilty today of crimes against humanity.

The ousted president, visibly shaken, shouted out ''Allahu Akbar!'' (God is Greatest) and ''Long live the nation!''.
