Painting competition on Birla's birthday

Hyderabad, Nov 5: The B M Birla Science Centre organised Annual Children's Painting Competition for school children in the age group of 6 to 12 at the B M Birla Science Centre here to commemorate the birthday of late B M Birla.

About 250 young children from various schools in the twin cities participated in the competition. The students were divided into two groups of 6-9 years and 10-12 years, respectively.

The topic for 6-9 years was ''our beautiful earth'' while the topic for 10-12 years was ''energy for tomorrow''.
