One killed, 12 injured in an accident in Bihar

Samastipur, Nov 5 (UNI) One person was killed and 12 others were injured when a jeep carrying them skidded and fell into a road side ditch near Mirjapur village under Kalyanpur police station area here today.

According to police, the accident took place as the driver of the jeep lost control over his vehicle.

The injured have been admitted at the local government hospital.

The victims were on their way to Begusari for taking a holy dip in river Ganga on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
