NIIT expands network in Lucknow

Lucknow, Nov 5: NIIT, Asia's largest IT training institute, has expanded its education network in the region by opening a new education centre in the state capital.

The new centre was inaugurated by Lucknow University Pro-vice chancellor Prof Radhe Shyam Yadav at Rajajipuram yesterday.

NIIT Area Head Sanjay Srivastava said ''with the Indian IT industry requiring more than a million IT professionals in the next few years, the youth can look forward to a highly promising IT career.

Mr Yadav added NIIT is committed to build a large pool of skilled manpower for the IT industry.

The new centre is the sixth in the state capital and would train about 100 students every year.
