Life imprisonment for father-son

Banka, Nov 5: A local court today sentenced life imprisonment to four people including the father-son duo in connection with a murder case in 2002.

Additional district judge of fast track court N N Chaudhary sentenced all the four accused to life imprisonment after they were found guilty in the case.

The convicts had shot dead one Alok Kumar Singh under Shambhu ganj police station area in Banka district on May 9, 2002.

Those who were sentenced are Ashok Singh, his son Akashya Kumar Singh, Maheshwari Prasad Singh and Arun Kumar Singh.
