Kirankumar Reddy refutes media reports
Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) State congress Chief Whip K Kirankumar Reddy today refuted media reports that he had constructed a wall of his house by encroaching land at MLAs colony near Banjara Hills in the city.
Producing documents and title deeds of the purchased land before the media, Mr Reddy alleged that the report had been published with a 'malafide intention'.
''I purchased 835 square yards. which was vacant beside the house at the cost of Rs 3.76 lakh after the housing society accepted and agreed to sell the land as per the society rules,'' he said.
He said he had written to Chief Minister YS Rajaskhara Reddy asking him to conduct an enquiry into the whole land purchase issue and said he was ready to face any kind of action if he found guilty.
Mr Reddy said that he would come out with all the information of land grabbing and encroachments done by the opposition parties in the next Assembly session.
