JKTDC ties up with GoAir to tap huge domestic tourist market
Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) has signed an agreement with Mumbai-based GoAir to tap the vast tourist potential of western India and attract the visitors to the state.
In a statement, the JKTDC said the tie-up has opened new vistas for the two organisations as they supplement each other through vast infrastructure and timely air connectivity.
''Due to the tie-up, the JKTDC visualises a sizeable increase in its accommodation occupancy in winter months while GoAir is positive about the outcome,'' it added.
The JKTDC has also launched its special packages for the winter season. While honeymoon packages would target domestic tourists, skiing packages have been launched for both national and international visitors.
''All these packages are economically designed for GoAir fares,'' the statement said.
