Four drown while bathing in river

Anand, Nov 5 (UNI) Four persons, including two brothers, today drowned while they were bathing in a river near Palla village in Kheda district.

The two brothers, along with two others, had gone to Vautha where there is a confluence of seven rivers, to immerse their late mother's ashes. After completing the rites, they were bathing when they drowned.

The four were residents of Jivrajpark in Ahmedabad. The bodies of Rajesh Solanki (26) and his brother Hemant (24), and Prakash Sonar (32) have been recovered while a search is on for their companion Vignesh Sonar, who is also feared drowned, police said.
