Cop shoots himself to death in Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, Nov 5: A head constable, who was on duty at Raj Bhavan shot himself to death at the premises of Governor's residence early today.

Police said Innaiah (35), head constable of the Andhra Pradesh Special Police, was deputed to Raj Bhavan as a securityman recenlty.

Innaiah shot himself, on his head with his revolver and died on the spot. The dead body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for post-mortem.

The reasons for his death was not known so far.

A case has been registered and an investigation was underway, police added.
