Child killed, three wounded in Kashmir explosion
Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) A child was killed and three others critically wounded in a powerful explosion at Bandipora in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.
They said the children, while playing in a field at Sonarwani in Bandipora area of the district, found an electronic device.
As they were fiddling with it, the device went off, killing one child -- Muntazzir Mushtaq Wani -- on the spot and critically wounding three others, police said.
The wounded have been identified as Mussawir Mohiuddin, Muneeb Ahmed and Junaid. They were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be serious.
