Bus accident leaves one dead and 20 injured

Purulia, Nov 5 (UNI) The helper of a Purulia bound bus was killed and 20 passengers were injured, seven of them critically, when the vehicle overturned at Para-Dubra village in Raghunathpur of the district today.

Police said the injured were taken to Raghunathpur State General Hospital. The critically injured were referred to Purulia Town Deben Mahato Sadar Hospital.

The bus, coming from Santaldih, fell into a roadside ditch while overtaking a vehicle.
