BJP revokes suspension of 10 party members

Shimla, Nov 5 (UNI) The BJP today revoked the suspension of ten members of its Himachal Pradesh unit from Solan assembly constituency, who were suspended from the primary membership of the party for creating ruckus at its state headquarters during the organisational polls.

All the 10 members, who were suspended on September 29 last by the party, have replied to the notices served on them by the party and have expressed regret over the incident following which their suspension has been revoked, a party release quoting state president Suresh Bhardwaj said here.

Mr Bhardwaj has revoked their suspension and nullified the disciplinary proceedings against them after they tendered unqualified apology, it said.

Mohan Singh Thakur, Sonia Thakur, Rajendra Bhardwaj, Rashmi Dhar Sood, Shelendra Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Ravinder Parihar, Virendra Sood, Inder Singh Mehta and Babu Ram Chauhan were suspended from the primary membership of the party following violence during organisational elections for the Solan district recently.
