AICC Secretary alleges misrule by LF govt

Agartala, Nov 5: The All India Congress Committee Secretary (AICC) Sanjoy Bapna flayed the CPI(M)-led Left Front government in Tripura for its failure to utilise the central fund properly and combat the ongoing insurgency.

Speaking at a rally organised by the state unit of Congress in the North district yesterday, Mr Bapna alleged that though the Centre had released huge funds for various development projects, the Left Front had failed to utilise it properly.

Highlighting the party's ideology, the AICC Secretary said the Congress always thinks and works for the people.

Tripura Pradesh Ccongress Committee President Samir Ranjan Burman also came down heavily on the Left Front government for failing to combat militancy.

He alleged that the ruling CPI(M) had become a 'hub of corruption and scandal'.
