Abhishek launches music album 'Truth' by duo Amaan and Ayaan

Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) Bollywood heartthrob Abhishek Bachchan today launched a music album ''Truth'' composed by the two brothers Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan here.

On the occasion, Abhishek said, ''Today I stand before you as a very very proud elder brother as I see what my younger brothers have achieved.'' Presenting a sarod instrument as a memento, Amaan and Ayaan said,''Truth is an album that finds its roots in the age old framework of Indian classical music. That is also where we came from. It just feels so good to be innovative in the genre of lounge music where in you maintain the sanctity and retain the purity of ragas.'' The duo further said, ''What makes this album more exciting for us is the use of lyrics in many of the tracks. Although singing has been an integral part of our training with our father we started using our vocal chords only over our last few projects.'' Apart from the sarod the other instruments used are the flute, sarangi, dholak, tabla and Dhaf. The most significant element is that their parents will be in the album.
