28th Mineral Advisory Council Meeting in Delhi tomorrow

New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) The 28th meeting of the Mineral Advisory Council will be held here tomorrow to suggest measures for further development of the mining sector in the country.

To be organised by the Ministry of Mines, the meeting will be presided over by Mines Minister Sis Ram Ola and attended by chief ministers and mining ministers of various states.

Minister of State for Mines Subbarami Reddy and Mines Secretary A K D Jadhav will also be present.

The meeting assumes significance in view of the need for fresh initiatives and removing bottlenecks to boost the performance of the mineral sector, an official release said here today.
