17 IPS officers transferred in AP

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government today tansferred 17 IPS officers.

According to an official release here, Cyberabad Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vijaya Kumar was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nalgonda. K Laxmi Reddy was posted as SP of Nellore.

Similarly, N Suryanarayana was transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Administration) in DGP office.

P V Sunil Kumar was posted as SP of Secunderabad Railways in the existing vacancy, while Charu Sinha was posted as the SP of Chittoor.

Hyderabad Traffic Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Anil Kumar was transferred and posted as the SP of Adilabad.

SP of CID A S Gurappa was transferred and posted as the SP of Ranga Reddy, and Mr Damodar was transferred and posted as DCP, Crime, Cyberabad.

R S Praveen Kumar was posted as Group Commander of Greyhounds. P Muniswamy and Bhavana Saxena were posted as Traffic DCP of Cyberabad and Joint Director of the ACB respectively, the release added.
