14 IAS officers transferred in Bihar

Patna, Nov 5 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government today transferred 14 IAS officers, including commissoner of water resources and energy departments.

According to notification issued by personnel department, commissoner-cum-secretary of energy department V Jaishankar has been sent to welfare department in the same capacity while water resources secretary H C Sirohi has been made advisor of the State Planning Board.

Planning commissioner N S Madhwan has been posted as agriculture production commissioner replacing the present incumbent A K Sinha who has been made water resources commissioner.

Commissioner-cum-secretary of housing department Anil Kumar has been sent to animal husbandry department in the same capacity while Anandwardhan, advisor to the state planning board, has been made secretary to the Lok Ayukta. Commissioner of Munger division, Rajesh Gupta has been shifted to energy department. Secretary of animal husbandry department, Amir Subhani has been transferred to personnel department in the same capacity.
