11 killed, 24 injured in UP road mishaps

Lucknow, Nov 5 (UNI) At least 11 persons were killed and 24 others injured in separate road accidents today in Agra and Moradabad districts of Uttar Pradesh.

As many as six people were killed and 12 others injured after a vehicle in which they were travelling overturned in Moradabad near Kasauli village under Basyi Arela police station area.

The deceased were identified as Birvati (30), Suman (19), Rizvan (30), Ashish (14), Maharam (60) and Akbar (45). The injured were rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

In an another incident, a speeding roadways bus collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction on Agra-Syahipura highway under Basyi Arela police station area.

Five passengers died on the spot, while 12 seriously injured were rushed to hospital.

The deceased were yet to be identified, report from Agra said.
