Stanely reservoir level at 100.140 ft
Tiruchirapalli, Nov 3 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery crossed 100 feet mark, after a gap of 29 days and stood at 100.140 ft against its full capacity of 120 feet.
State PWD sources here said the level touched 100 ft mark by midnight yesterday, following heavy rains in the catchment areas.
The inflow into the reservoir was 15,089 cusecs and the discharge from the dam was maintained at 100 cusecs.
From Grand Anaicut in Thanjavur District, about 3,510 cusecs was released into river Cauvery, 1,032 cusecs into Vennar, 1,500 cusecs into Grand Anaicut canal and 1,111 cusecs into Coleroon river for irrigation.
