Mysore: RAW monitoring Pak ultras' investigation
Mysore, Nov 3: Research and Analysis Wing and Intelligence Bureau personnel were in the city to monitor the investigation of the case relating to the arrest of two Pakistani terrorists here recently.
According to city police Commissioner Praveen Sood, investigation of the case was going on and ''our hands are full''. It would take at least a month to complete investigation and the grilling was fully video recorded.
It may be recalled here that two Pakistani extremists, Mohammad Fahad and Mohammad Ali Hussain, allegedly owing allegiance to Al-Badr militant outfit, were arrested here by the city police following an encounter.
Meanwhile, a Kerala police team arrived in the city to inquire the ultras under the Indian Passport Act and Foreigners Registration Act.
Police sources said Fahad had more often visited Kerala to attend various marriage functions.
Police have arrested five people who had aided the two militants to obtain various documents, including a birth certificate from the Mysore City Corporation, driving licence and address proof. All of them have been remanded to two weeks judicial custody.
