Uma Bharti returns 'Z plus' security cover
Bhopal, Nov 2: Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti today announced to return a'Z plus' security cover provided to her by the Madhya Pradesh Government.
Ms Bharti took the decision in view of the attack on her helicopter at Jaitpur in Malehra assembly constituency and later on her convoy at Serora village in Chhatarpur district at the fag end of polling during Malehra by-elections on October 30, a statement issued by the BJS said here today.
Ms Bharti said she will leave for Bhagalpur in Bihar this evening without the 'Z plus' security cover.
She also announced that she will court-arrest along with BJS General Secretary Prahald Patel in protest of the turn of events in Malehra on November 9.
Director General of Police A R Pawar told UNI that he did not possess information about this decision of the BJS President and a review would be done if Ms Bharti had taken the decision.
Ms Bharti had been provided 20 security personnel of the state police including inspector and constables as a part of her security cover.
The sadhvi had claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched up to murder her.
