Subhash Projects Q2 net up 513 pc
New Delhi, Nov 2: Subhash Projects and Marketing Ltd, India's largest integrated engineering company, today posted a whopping 513 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 10.1 crore during the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, as against Rs 1.6 crore during the corresponding period last year.
The company's net sales registered an increase of 217 per cent to Rs 193.7 crore in Q2 FY07 from Rs 61.1 crore in Q2 FY06.
In addition, the EBIDTA rose by 343 per cent to Rs 21.6 crore from Rs 4.9 crore in Q2 last fiscal.
''We have begun the second half on a positive note and are bullish about our growth in forthcoming quarters. The improved profitability is attributed to the large number of projects undertaken domestically covering all construction verticals including power generation and transmission, water management, environmental engineering and infrastructure development,'' company's Vice Chairman and Managing Director Subhash Sethi said.
