Rupee opens weaker at 44.91/93 per USD

Mumbai, Nov 2 (UNI) Indian currency today opened softer by four paise, at Rs 44.91/93 per US dollar compared to previous close of Rs 44.87 per USD, a money market trader said.

Later, the rupee shot to 44.95/96 per USD, but, currently it is trading at Rs 44.93/94 per USD due to selling pressure by banks, forex dealers said.
